FEMELEK is a groundbreaking festival about music, new technologies and avant-garde creative arts in Barcelona, Spain. The festival aims to consolidate and promote female talents within the realm of artistic creations and new technologies.
The Festival was originated within the context of the International Women’s Day – 8 March in 2006, as an invitation of the Centre Civic Convent de Sant Agusti, in downtown Barcelona. With 5 years of history and an excellent reception from the public, avid with interesting and striking cultural activities in the city, FEMELEK has encouraged and programed more than 100 female artists in the fields of arts, technology, music, visual arts, robotics being the first 100% women festival in the country.
Artists from different parts of the world, with different artistic influences, styles and working methods, working side by side with astonishing and potent results.

O Festival foi criado no marco do Dia Internacional da Mulher _ 8 de Março, no ano de 2006, a convite do Centro Civico Convent de Sant Agusti no centro de Barcelona. Com 5 anos de historia e uma excepcional acolhida do publico, avido por atividades culturais inovadoras, FEMELEK encorajou a mais de 100 artistas nas areas de musica, artes visuais, robotica, sendo o primeiro festival com um cartaz 100% feminino no país.
